One of those really rare super wide binoculars that helped to make that era the Golden Age of Japanese Binocular Production! This is a 12* wide angle, now referred to as a Super, or Ultra, wide angle and no longer produced ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET!!!
Think about that for a moment and then notice the amazingly great condition of this set! It even has remnants of the silver colored oval JTII (Japanese Telescope Inspection Institute) sticker right inner hinge. Too, lenses are near pristine with few, if any, cleaning marks. Typical of binoculars whose owners paid the equivalent of $1000.00+ for them, and who usually knew the correct way to handle and clean them.
I've cleaned the interior of the usual slight film and lubed the focuser and right diopter with synthetic NYE grease. Comes with all four logo embossed lens caps, case in great shape with carry strap, and original Instruction booklet.
There were slightly wider ones, such as the excellent Tasco model 110, and those cost more.
