Model number MD464LL/A and part number A1463. Required for connecting supported FireWire 800 devices to Thunderbolt 2 ports on compatible Mac models. Thunderbolt 3 connections may be compatible using a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adapter (sold separately). Product was created in 2012 and discontinued in 2022.
